End of the year already?!

DUDE!! Today I realized that school will be over in approximately 4 WEEKS! How amazing is that??? I can't wait to finally sleep more than an average of 5 hours and not be a broke college student...for four months at least :}
Well today has been super duper productive. I started my final wash in for the year, and as I transformed my painting from poopy 'raw umber' brown to somewhat life like lights and shadows, I realized that I probably wouldn't have a chance to take painting again, well atleast not with Marvin [lol my prof. is too cool for his last name]. Even though I was a bit stubborn in the beginning of the year and reluctant to shell out big bucks for supplies that I thought were going to be completely irrelevant to my experience at SVA, I must say that I fell in love with listening to oldies and country music for 6 hours for 30 weeks of my life while painting "shapes" instead of huge boobs and funny looking feet.
When I look back at my first paintings, all I can say is: "man that definitely doesn't look right." But now I can say that I have improved quite a bit...not really awesome like the old masters but hey maybe one day.
Hmmmm so that is what the SVA Ad means.
